It’s hard to believe summer is coming to a close and we’re already preparing for another Labor Day on the Shore. Labor Day 2020 in Cape May is sure to be special, as it always is. Things do look a bit different this year, but that hasn’t stopped local establishments and entertainers from hosting lovely outdoor events through the rest of the summer. What’s coming up next?

Tales of the Victorians | East Lynne Theater Company | Thursdays through October 1
East Lynne Theater Company is excited to bring you the 31st season of Tales of the Victorians! Join ELC for readings of stories by famous American authors. Performances are outside (weather permitting), from 4 PM to 4:45 PM. Enjoy the show and then head to your favorite Cape May restaurant for dinner. Reservations are required and can be made via email or telephone. Once you make your reservation, the performance location will be revealed (a shaded backyard in Cape May).
Of course, all are asked to follow safety guidelines by wearing a mask and sitting where socially distanced seats have been placed. No food or beverages will be served, but guests may bring their own drinks of choice. Please note, restrooms are not available.
Bonus: East Lynn Theater Company now offers streamed performances on their YouTube channel for free! Tune in every Thursday. Live performances may extend beyond October 1, weather permitting.
Music in the Park | August 15 and 22
Now through the end of the month, enjoy outdoor performances by local Cape May musicians at Music in the Park. Seating is limited, so arrive early. You may elect to bring a blanket, chairs, or both! All guests are asked to please adhere to social distancing protocol and mask requirements. Upcoming shows:

Vinyasa in the Vines | Willow Creek Winery
For Yoga lovers – or those seeking to spend a little (albeit unconventional) time outside in the vineyards of Cape May – try a rejuvenating yoga class at Willow Creek Winery. All levels are welcome. Plus, students are invited to try a post-savasana signature sangria, for just $10 with each Friday practice.

UnCorked Comedy at Willow Creek Winery | August 22
Also at Willow Creek Winery is Comedy UnCorked. On August 22nd, enjoy a three-course, wine-paired dinner and comedy show starring two hilarious New York comedians plus a comedic host! This is a fun event, but it’s not for the whole family. Performance are rated MA for mature audiences and the show will go on rain or shine.

The Tomato Festival | September 5
It’s time to celebrate the Jersey Fresh Tomato at the West Cape May Tomato Festival. Here, everyone’s favorite summer fruit is center stage thanks to vendors from across the region. Browse, dine, and take home gorgeous tomatoes, tomato pie, and other unique tomato dishes. All proceeds benefit the WCM Shade Tree Commission, which aims to protect and improve the tree canopy of West Cape May.
