While every season is beautiful in Cape May, Spring is especially gorgeous and exciting. Here, the days are packed with fun events like the Cape May Music Festival, sidewalk sales, Crafts & Collectibles Shows, and more. Here’s what’s coming up this month plus a link to other Cape May spring events happening soon

Washington Street Mall Sidewalk Sale | May 18 through 21

Washington Street Mall sidewalk sales are famous for great savings on clothing, gifts, collectibles, and more. Now is the time to save on something great for yourself or stock up for summer. These are the hottest deals of the season from the area’s best merchants.

Cape May Music Festival | May 25

The Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts & Humanities (MAC) is continuing its tradition of bringing beautiful music to Cape May.  Once again, MAC will present a series of Classical, Chamber, Jazz, and other classic (and classy!) musical concerts in Cape May. Unlike most music festivals, which pack all performances into a frenzied weekend, the Cape May Music Festival takes a more leisurely approach, presenting a couple of concerts a week for several weeks. If you love great music, and you’re looking for an excuse to enjoy a springtime visit to Cape May, the Cape May Music Festival is perfect for you.

Crafts & Collectibles Show

All year long, Cape May MAC presents high-quality Crafts & Collectibles shows featuring the wares of vendors and crafters from the Northeast. May’s Mother’s Day Weekend show offers springtime art, crafts, and artisan goods perfect for this special time of year.

The Restaurant of the Month | Louisa’s

The Restaurant of the Month is Louisa’s. Long before the farm-to-table trend invaded America, Louisa’s offered expertly seasoned dishes lovingly prepared with first-rate ingredients. Today, this tiny-but-iconic eatery continues to serve fresh and delicious food from its historic (yellow!) location. Enjoy fresh-caught fish, vegetables, fruit, herbs, and beautiful fresh flowers from West Cape May’s Beach Plum Farm, plus a chocolate bar. It’s no wonder Louisa’s is a longtime local favorite.

The Room of the Month | Bloomsbury

The Room of the Month is Bloomsbury. Bloomsbury is a premium room located on the second floor of Prince Albert Hall. Bright and cheery, it features a canopy bed, period Victorian Eastlake dresser, and comfortable seating area. Bloomsbury’s bathroom has a one-person whirlpool tub for your relaxation. The afternoon glow from the sunset is gorgeous in this room.

We hope you’ll visit us for these fun events and so much more. Book your room at The Queen Victoria for the best accommodations in Cape May.
