NJ Hotel COVID Protocol: Rave Cape May B&B Reviews.

In May, we wrote about the measures we’re taking to ensure all our guests have a lovely – and safe – Cape May vacation during the pandemic. We didn’t know what to expect when we reopened in June, but we were prepared to go above and beyond to provide a top-notch experience. Thank you to everyone who joined us so far this summer. Wonderful Weekend Visit!

The Queen Victoria, 16 years and loving it!

“My wife and I have been staying at The Queen Victoria for the past 16 seasons. We have made trips to the QV at all times of the year. We didn’t know what to expect due to Covid-19 but were very satisfied and felt safe during our stay. If I knew of two people who could pull it off and make it work, it is Doug and Anna Marie. They indeed made the best of a bad situation. We did not at all feel inconvenienced at breakfast or afternoon tea. The staff was extremely attentive and ensured that our room was completely sanitized and all our needs were met. Always Excellent!!!

“Frankly, prior to arriving, we were a little nervous about our upcoming stay, given the ever-changing NJ Covid-19 restrictions and protocols. However, once we were comfortably in our room, we took notice of all the nice changes that the Inn Keepers had taken to ensure our safety and comfort. In addition to a room air purifier, the room had been ozone treated between guests. The rooms have always been very clean; this year, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and to assure us they were concerned about our health and that they were serious about the potential risks from the virus. The unlimited gourmet breakfast buffet is now served to you from behind a plexiglass screen. The staff wore a face shield, mask, and gloves as PPE. Side dishes, such as the homemade bread, granola, and fresh fruit are portioned and individuality wrapped. All the seating is “outdoor dining”, either on the porches or under the lawn under umbrellas. They are disinfected as soon as a party has finished. Social distancing was easy to do. Yes, there were changes this year, but we loved our room and the delicious food as much as any year prior. “Wonderful B&B. We were thrilled with the Queen Victoria B&B. The buildings are beautiful and clean. The atmosphere is relaxing and stress-free. Breakfast daily was delicious and the chats with the owner were always enjoyed. You can tell they love what they do. COVID-19 hasn’t stopped them. They have a great cleanliness plan and it shows. The Queen Victoria is located in beautiful Cape May, just one block from the Atlantic Ocean. Things are a little quieter than usual time of year, but there’s still plenty to do and see.
