Cape May Christmas Tree Lighting | November 19, 2022, at 5pm

This year, the annual Cape May Christmas Tree Lighting features the Atlantic Brass Band performing all your holiday favorites. Enjoy free admission to the Physick House Museum and a special appearance by Santa! Don’t miss this chance to celebrate all that’s merry and bright!

Christmas Candlelight House Tours | December 3, 10, and 17

The Queen Victoria main building decorated for Christmas at night.

Cape May Christmas Candlelight House Tours are a beloved annual tradition for all to enjoy. The first tour was launched in 1973 and remains a highlight of the Christmas season. Tours take place on three nights in December. Explore Cape May homes, bed & breakfast inns, churches, and hotels – all with beautifully decorated holiday interiors. This self-guided tour is one of MAC’s biggest fund-raisers. Maps are provided and a local trolley shuttle travels on a planned route with limited stops. Walking is encouraged to get the most out of the tour. Advanced purchase is highly recommended.

‘Tis the Season: The Forgotten Caroler | Thursdays and Fridays in December

Visit the Physick Estates for an immersive Christmas performance about a Victorian Christmas gone wrong. Watch as the play unfolds, room to room, on the first floor of the 1879 Physick House Museum. An unexpected winter storm brings plans to a halt. It seems that not even a joyful troupe of carolers can restore the family’s holiday spirit. Is all hope lost? Or will the Bennett family find a way to enjoy their holiday? Enjoy this delightful and inspiring Victorian Christmas story that revels in the magic of the season.
