The Discount Season in Cape May is approaching and many of you already know about the deeply discounted packages that we offer during our non-peak seasons (which are lovely times to visit). This November in Cape May, for example, enjoy the transition from fall to the warmth of the holiday season. Our discount packages make it easy – and affordable – to do so.
Queen Victoria Getaway Packages
234 Discount
The 234 is a Sunday thru Thursday (mid-week) package that’s offered November 1 through April 30. It includes 2 nights in any standard room for $234+tax ($117/night). Similar savings are also available for other room classes. The 234 is our best, and most popular, discount value. There are a few “excluded” times, including Thanksgiving Day and the end of December (12/24-31 in 2019), and Sunday, Feb 16, 2020.
Winter Escape
The Winter Escape is our only “weekend” discount package. Starting January 1 and running through April 2, stay in a “large standard” room for any 2 nights for just $350 ($175 a night). Like the 234 Package, similar savings are available for other classes of rooms. This package also includes a complimentary cheese platter and free wine tasting at Natali Vineyards. The only exclusion date in 2020 is President’s Day Weekend, Feb 14-16.
No matter which discount package you choose, you must enjoy local seasonal happenings.
Attractions and Upcoming Events
Exit Zero Jazz Festival | November 8 – 10
Now celebrating its eighth year, the Exit Zero Jazz Festival is one of the most prestigious jazz festivals in the northeast. A three-day live music extravaganza, here you’ll find jazz artists and bands on the Schmidtchen Theatre/Music Connects Stage and It’s A Breeze/Hawk Haven Main Stage at the Cape May Convention Hall. Plus, other performances pop-up all over town.
Chocolate Lovers Weekend | November 15 – 16
We’re excited to bring this wonderful event back to The Queen Victoria! We’re always overwhelmed by the positive response from guests, which is hardly surprising given the almost universal affinity for chocolate. We’ll be serving lots of specialty chocolates, chocolate baked goods, and goodies that are fun to drizzle with chocolate. Each time, we like to get creative with specialty flavors of melted chocolate. Who knows what surprises we’ll have for you this time!
Lamplighter Christmas Tour | Fridays, Nov. 29, Dec. 6 & 13; Saturdays, Nov. 30 & Dec. 21 1 pm-3 pm on Tuesday, Dec. 31
Enjoy a self-guided tour of four of Cape May’s finest Bed and Breakfast inns or private homes, festively decorated for the holidays. Owners and Innkeepers share their holiday spirit at each location. The tour also includes a visit to the Physick Estate where you can view “An Old-fashioned Christmas: Holiday Traditions through the Years” and enjoy warm beverages and traditional cookies
MAC’s Holiday Preview Weekend | November 22 – 24
This year, enjoy a wide variety of holiday tours and food and wine events, perfect for getting you into the Christmas in Cape May spirit.
