“Rootstock” concert series at Hawk Haven Winery by Spy Boy Productions 

The Rootstock concert series is the second of three new series produced by Spy Boy. It’s set in the vineyards of local winery, Hawk Haven, which offers plenty of open space for concertgoers to enjoy.

The series features performances by artists scheduled to play at the Exit Zero Jazz Festival, which has unfortunately been canceled, including Fat Mezz on September 4. Here, enjoy great wine and delicious food from Stone Harbor’s Hit the Road Jack food truck every Friday from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM. From seared scallops to ribeye sliders and grilled lobster tail, their ever-changing menu is sure to please every palate.

Harry’s Ocean Bar & Grille 

Visit Harry’s Ocean Bar & Grille for outstanding live music at Cape May’s only oceanfront rooftop eatery and bar. Enjoy the music of local artists who play here and at other venues in town. All are extremely talented and guaranteed to entertain into the night. Harry’s is known for serving great pub/coastal food and their signature drink, the Orange Crush. Rusty Nail 

The Rusty Nail features live music just about every night. It’s a great place to relax, grab some drinks, and enjoy dinner. This establishment has Caribbean-esq vibe and is tucked away behind the trees with tables in the sand. Most performers are local, and some play at other Cape May venues. Coming up:

Carney’s 

With live music four nights a week, Carney’s is a music haven in Cape May. It’s just around the corner from the Queen Victoria, making it very convenient and easy to get to. Seating is limited, so it’s best to arrive early to get a table. Because performances are live outdoors, music can be clearly heard by those strolling along the promenade or sitting on a bench nearby. Regular musical acts are:

  • Fridays: Sindi Raymond Band 
  • Saturdays: Tri-State area’s best cover bands 
  • Sundays: JB Rocks
