Now that fall is here, it is time to celebrate. New Jersey is a great place for a fall celebration. We have a festival for everything. Coming right up is the 2017 Cape May Fall Festival. Hosted by New Jersey Audubon, the Cape May Fall Festival is the festival of the year for bird lovers. And since Cape May has an extensive bird population, we couldn’t imagine a better place for such a great event.
Held Thursday, October 19th through Sunday, October 22nd, the Cape May Fall Festival is all about birds. In fact, the Cape May Fall Festival is the longest running birding festival in the country and only gets better with each passing year. With so many birds, you will find no better place to immerse yourself in the birding world. Be a part of the fall migration series, attend a variety of different walks geared towards all skill levels of bird lovers, and learn from a wide array of insightful and interesting presentations given by birding experts.
Your registration of $65 per day or $175 for all three days helps keep this great event going year after year. You can even add to your experience by scheduling special trips on various trolley rides and boat trips lead by birding professionals. Enjoy workshops to enhance your knowledge in just about any birding topic that peaks your interest. The Cape May Fall Festival offers so much that it is easy to personalize, allowing you to maximize the benefits to your individual interests.
Don’t miss the impressive live raptor show at Convention Hall for the opportunity to see raptors up close. Johnathan Wood from The Raptor Project will showcase some spectacular birds for all to see. Take part in some incredible photography sessions and capture once in a lifetime images of the amazing bird species found right here in Cape May.
