INDEPENDENCE DAY PARADE ON JULY 1, 2023
This year, Cape May’s Independence Day Parade falls on Saturday, July 3rd. Beginning at 12:00 pm, the parade takes place along Beach Drive. Don’t miss this festive celebration complete with vintage cars, holiday floats, and live performances by local musicians. Bonus, all decorated golf carts, bicycles, and baby carriages are encouraged to enter the new “Best Decorated” Contest this year for a chance to win 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place prizes!
FREE Rotary Park Bandstand Concert Series: Independence Day Band on July 2, 2023
FREE Summer Concerts are back at Rotary Park. This 4th of July weekend, enjoy an evening of music performed by Independence Day Band. A total of 47 concerts are scheduled as part of this series. See the full lineup. Bring a blanket or beach chair, sit back, relax, and enjoy the show.
LOWER TOWNSHIP FIREWORKS ON JULY 3, 2023
The Lower Township 4th of July Festival and Fireworks Display begins at 5pm on July 3, 2023. This event, held along the bayfront, offers an evening of live music, entertainment, delicious food, children’s amusement rides and spectacular fireworks. Festivities begin at 5pm between Lincoln Boulevard and Emerson Avenue. Amusement rides are on Washington Boulevard and Franklin Avenue. Fireworks begin at around 9pm.
HISTORIC COLD SPRING VILLAGE INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION ON JULY 1 AND 2, 2023, 11AM TO 4PM
This annual celebration includes patriotic activities and events suitable for the entire family. Held on July 1 and 2 from 11am to 4pm, this historic Independence Day event features A variety of patriotic family activities, programs, and music. Plus, the Village’s restored historic buildings will be open with demonstrations of Early American trades and crafts.
CAPE MAY CITY FIREWORKS ON JULY 4, 2023
Cape May City Fireworks are held at Congress Beach where onlookers may enjoy fantastic views from the sand, promenade or any property facing Beach Avenue. The show begins at 9:15 pm and includes an hour of dazzling fireworks. Please note, in the event of rain, the fireworks display may be rescheduled or canceled. Rain date July 5, 2023.
