Spring is in the air. Join us this month for a beautiful start to the summer season in Cape May. Of course, Memorial Day Weekend is one of the most popular weekends to visit our seaside village. Below you’ll find a short list of Cape May Memorial Day events plus recent The Queen Victoria news like our room of the month and restaurant of the month. But first, we’d like to talk about one of our favorite Cape May activities, bicycling.

Cape May Bicycling

At The Queen Victoria, we house a large collection of bikes for our guests to enjoy during their stay. Borrow them for rides around town, to the beach, or to get some exercise. Suggestions about where to ride can be found here. Cape May is a very bike-friendly place. There’s no better way to take in all the town’s history and architecture than leisurely cruising through her beautiful streets.

Celebrate Memorial Day in Cape May with these fun events and activities.

Cape May Music Festival | May 25 to June 22

The Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts & Humanities (MAC) is continuing its tradition of bringing beautiful music to Cape May.  Once again, MAC will present a series of Classical, Chamber, Jazz, and other classic (and classy!) musical concerts to Cape May. Unlike most music festivals, which pack all performances into a frenzied weekend, the Cape May Music Festival takes a more leisurely approach, presenting a couple of concerts a week for several weeks.

If you love great music, and you’re looking for an excuse to enjoy a springtime visit to Cape May, the Cape May Music Festival is perfect for you.
