Cape May Boardwalk

Oceanside Walk in Cape May

The Queen Victoria’s location near the beach puts you close by one of the best features in town: no visit is complete without a stroll down the Cape May boardwalk!

This promenade runs parallel to the ocean for almost two miles along Beach Avenue.  It’s directly against the beach and has no crosswalks or traffic lights, making it the perfect place for a walk or run—a great highlight for any summer vacation in Cape May.  (Bicycle riding is also permitted before 10 a.m.)  Several paths lead off from its pavement and directly onto the beach for easy access.

Stores and restaurants are also located on the promenade.  The Cape May Arcade, featuring slot coin games, skee ball, a photo booth and more, is one of the highlights.  Other stores include The Original Fudge Kitchen and Morrow’s Nut House.  It’s easy to make a fun visit to the Cape May promenade a part of your next stay with The Queen Victoria.
