The Queen Victoria is excited to be carrying on the tradition of Channeling Weekends with a new (to us) medium/spiritualist named Debbie Wojciechowski. Debbie is a Certified Psychic Medium and a Certified Master Teacher c/o Lisa Williams International School of Spiritual Development. She has been trained, assessed and certified by Lisa Williams (International Psychic Medium).
Debbie became a full time medium/spiritualist after retiring from a 25 year law enforement career. She also holds a Master's of Science degree from John's Hopkins University.
Package price is $60/person, in addition to your room.
Debbie will be staying in our Cape May, NJ lodging accommodations for two nights and doing group channeling sessions for participating guests of The Queen Victoria®. Debbie will host two separate small group channeling sessions, one in the afternoon and one in the evening.
Debbie guarantees a 10 minute reading for each participant!
Participants will get to choose which session they want to attend. Debbie will also be on hand at breakfast too, but in a casual, non-professional capacity.
Debbie will connect with the world of Spirit and will also gain insight using her psychic awareness. The readings that she provides are for guidance only. What you decide to do with the information that she gives you, including any actions you take, is your own personal responsibility and choice. All readings and questions answered should at no time be regarded as legal, medical, financial, psychological or business fact and are subject to your own interpretation and judgment. For legal reasons be advised that the readings are for entertainment purposes only. Debbie's services are not a substitute for professional services and it is advised that you should seek advice from the relevant qualified expert.
Big Cheese Weekend
Complimentary cheese tasting party for all registered guests!
- Stay Tuned for Our 2016 Event Date
Our annual Cheese Tasting party is a wonderful event and we're really looking forward to it again.
Anna Marie and I will be filling The Queen Victoria® dining room table with a wide assortment of cheeses from our friends at Seaside Cheese (I know lots of you love it there). There will be about 16 cheeses for us to taste and each one will have a write up about its origin, how it is made and any other fun tidbits of information. We'll also have breads from one of our local bakeries along with an assortment of specialty olive oils.
We're planning on doing this Saturday at around 1:00, so you can actually make a lunch out of it if you want to. Now I know that for some people it is impossible to eat cheese without having a glass of wine in your hand, so we're welcoming everyone to bring their own wine and make an afternoon of it. The wine tends to become communal so bring something you feel comfortable sharing.
The really good news is that this is a free event for all of our guests that weekend.
St. Patty’s Whiskey Challenge
St. Patrick's Day Weekend 2016!
Looking for a special way to celebrate St. Patrick's Day this year? Stay tuned for more specifics on this March 2016 event.
Join us for our annual St. Patty's Day Whiskey Challenge.
Though St. Patrick was Irish, we're not limiting our event to Irish Whiskey (though that is Doug's favorite beverage). In the spirit of inclusiveness, we're opening the event up to any type of distilled whiskey or bourbon. So, this year we're encouraging everyone to bring their favorite Whiskey (Irish, Scotch, Bourbon, Rye, etc.) to the challenge.
Price of Admission ... a bottle of your favorite Whisky
This is a BYOW event (that is Bring Your Own Whiskey, of course), so bring a bottle of your favorite Whiskey. We'll label everyone's bottle and bring it into the kitchen, where we'll pour each into a anonymous carafe for a blind tasting. We may get one or two duplicate bottles, but I'm sure we'll survive it. In fact, it might just keep us on our toes. I know that a few of you will bring something a little obscure to throw in the mix and make it interesting. At the end of the event we'll cast our ballots for our favorite and we'll see who comes out on top.
Since we're just sipping/tasting here, most of those bottles will have a lot left in them at the end of the day. We'll be sure to return everybody's bottle to them at the end of the event.
No St. Patrick's Day celebration could be complete without some traditional Irish fare, as well, so we'll have chef Bill Walters prepare some special treats for sustenance during this event.
Winter Birthday Celebrations
In 2013 we celebrated Anna Marie's significant birthday (I've conveniently forgotten which one) with a party at The Queen Victoria. It was especially fun because we turned it into a "March Birthday" celebration for several of our guests celebrating birthdays that month. They reserved a room for a fun weekend in Cape May and we had a big party for everyone.
It was such a great time, in fact, that we've decided to repeat and expand the event. In 2015 we'll be throwing a birthday party every month, January through April to celebrate the birthdays of any of our guests born in those months. If you're going to be celebrating a birthday in winter/early spring 2015 and you're looking for a fun way to do it, I suggest a trip to The Queen Victoria.
Here are the dates of our 2015 Birthday Parties:
• January 3
• February 28
• March 21
• April 18
If you don't have a birthday coming up, but are looking for an excuse to make a trip to Cape May, you're welcome too! Book a room and join us, we won't be checking IDs.
Booking Hint: Take advantage of our "Winter Escape" package and give yourself a nice discount for the January, February & March events!
