Harvest Brew Fest

Breweries in Cape May

Published on August 26, 2016

I know you’re already thinking of a reason to visit Cape May in the fall and you’re in luck (especially if you enjoy beer!) as you can come on over to New Jersey for the 2nd Annual Harvest Brew Fest.

Welcome the fall season with its cooler temperatures, pumpkin-flavored everything, and stunning foliage with a cold brew and exceptional food. Like its summer predecessor, August’s Craft Beer & Crab Festival, this event is at the Emlen Physick Estate and an all-day affair. The festival runs on Saturday, September 17 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and coincides with the ending of the Cape May Food & Wine Celebration. So no matter what type of drink or food you’re after you’re bound to find it at a Cape May festival!

Enjoy food from local restaurants and vendors, live music, beer and spirits, and family-friendly activities. Anna Marie and I won’t say anything though if you come back to The Queen Victoria after visiting the face painting stall. You can also purchase some souvenirs and collectibles at the crafts fair. Beverages are provided by Cape May Brewery, Sunset Liquors, Slacktide Brewery, Tito’s Vodka, Cape May Rum, and Sangria.

Admission to the event is free but there is a charge for food and beverage purchases. The Harvest Brew Fest is the last food and drink festival of 2016 so I highly recommend it!
