Fall Cape May Restaurant Week

A Cape May Dining Experience

Published on November 10, 2015

Anna Marie and I never tire of the restaurants or dining establishments that call Cape May home.  In fact, we’re quite sure that our guests fall more in love with Cape May with every bite they take!  If you’ve had your eye on a certain restaurant but may be on a more limited budget, then you’ll want to plan your Cape May trip around Cape May Restaurant Week.

Luckily, restaurant week occurs twice during the year with one event in the fall and one event in the summer. The fall event can be a little more relaxed and reservations are generally easier to get, whereas visitors and Cape May residents need to plan a few weeks out in order to get a table during the summer week.

The fall event in 2015 coincided with the Exit 0 Jazz Festival and ran November 5 – 8, with the Jazz Festival running November 6 – 8. It was a wonderful weekend in Cape May, full of food and music.  What a great combination!

The fall event was strictly focused on dinner with restaurants offering a three-course meal for $35 per person. The summer week has three different options, a $15 lunch, a $25 or $35 dinner. Restaurant Week is a great deal for dinner, especially if you stop by Collier’s Liquor Store to pick up a bottle of wine to complement your meal at one of the participating “BYOB” restaurants. Anna Marie and I are both happy to make recommendations on both the restaurant and the bottle.

The first Cape May Restaurant Week in 2016 will be June 5 – 12, so you should start planning your next visit to The Queen Victoria soon!
